initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch software package provides tools for mounting an Ubuntu Touch rootfs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch
initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch *
You will get with initramfs-tools-ubuntu-touch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
